A vibrant “Makar Sankranti” event was celebrated recently in Atlanta, Georgia, USA with series of beautiful performances and kite flying celebration for the Indian Americans.

The event was celebrated  in presence of honorable chief guests “Mr John Bradberry”- Mayor of Johns creek City, “Mr Madan Kumar Ghildiyal”- Consular of Indian Consulate, Atlanta, “Mr Bob Erramilli”- Johns creek City Council member and Ex-Serviceman, “Dr Charanjit Shikh” – Founder & President of Indo American Medical Association, Indo American Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta. Mr Mustufa Ajmeri – Indo American event specialist.  Ms. Khyati Shah – Director, Feelings Multimedia Ltd was honored to share the stage with the dignitaries.

It was a fun filled event with a bunch of stalls having Indian food and clothing from Atlanta. The crowd loved Sankranti special performances and fashion event along with delicious food and kite flying keeping the spirit up always of celebrating Indian Festival away from India.

Organizers Ms Shwetha and Ms Shruthi were overjoyed seeing the huge response from Indian Americans of Atlanta and are excited to have such events in future to keep Indian Traditions and festivals alive.
