IGSCA-International Gujarati Cultural Society Atlanta, USA is committed to showcase finest Gujarati events in different categories like music, art, literature, movies and more. IGSCA is constantly working for raising awareness about the Gujarati Culture and Heritage through its various events, keeping the roots alive and making it strong for all Gujarati community of Atlanta.
IGSCA arranged a special screening of the latest Gujarati Movie UMBARRO on February 23,2025 at NCG Cinemas , Atlanta. Umbarro is definitely a must watch family movie with amazing storyline of common Gujarati women living an ordinary life with her extraordinary courage, dreams and values. Its a soul-stirring movie with a strong message of women empowerment through its captivating storyline , power packed performance of all 7 gujju actresses and mind-blowing cinematography. This movie will make you smile, laugh and cry though its humor, witty and emotional sequences ,remarkable direction by Hellaro fame Director Abhishek Shah and not to miss beautiful music and special song from Falguni Pathak. In a nut-shell Umbarro is complete entertainment packed movie with strong thought provoking storyline.

The response from Atlanta Gujarati community was overwhelming and it was first time in Atlanta that more than 300 Guajarati people attended this special movie screening. IGSCA Chairman and Patron Dr Naresh Parikh and his wife Dr Asha Parikh have been always supported all the events and had been a major supporter for Umbarro as well.
